Crannagh & Co International Trade & Business Services Ltd are the winners of the 2007 National Enterprise Awards. The announcement was made at a ceremony in Dublin Castle in November. The company, based in Belturbet, Co.Cavan, provides international trade & business services to multinationals. Organised by the County & City Enterprise Boards, the National Enterprise Awards is in its tenth year and was established to reward the outstanding achievements of small businesses in Ireland. The largest enterprise competition of its kind, the eight finalists competed for a prize fund of €25,000

Senior Winners of Student Enterprise Awards 2008.

The annual Cavan County Final of the Student Enterprise Awards was held on March 5th in the Slieve Russell Hotel, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan. Thirty five business projects from seven schools in County Cavan were showcased with over 230 students from the age of thirteen to sixteen involved, all vying to win one of the fifteen awards available on the day.
