Enterprise Partnership Loan Fund

This scheme provides small scale assistance on favourable terms to applicants from disadvantaged circumstances and disadvantaged areas within the county who are endeavouring to establish their own businesses.

This scheme is administered in conjunction with Breffni Integrated Ltd with support from the EU Special Support Programme for Peace and Reconciliation and the Department of Social Protection.

Applications to access the Cavan Enterprise/Breffni Integrated Loan Fund are made available to unemployed individuals who are establishing a business and are eligible for Back to Work Enterprise Allowance Scheme or Short Term Enterprise Allowance.

The criterion are outlined as follows:

§ Applicants must have in place a viable and realistic business plan.

§ Applicants must attend a Start Your Own Business Training course or have evidence of attending equivalent training.

§ Applicants must complete Cavan Enterprise/Breffni Integrated Loan Fund application form

§ Applicants must be eligible for back to Work Enterprise Allowance Scheme or Short Term Enterprise Allowance.

§ Applicants may be requested to attend an interview by Cavan Enterprise/Breffni Integrated sub - committee.

§ Loan applications may not exceed €5,000.

§ Terms and conditions will apply to each applicant on a case by case basis.

§ Applicants must intend to operate a fully registered trading business within the republic of Ireland and may be requested to submit the relevant documentation to support their application.
